What we collect
- •Your research profile (fields, keywords, preferred journals)
- •Your email address for digest delivery
- •Reading activity (which articles you open, save, or dismiss) to improve scoring
What we never do
- •We never sell or share your data with third parties
- •We never use your profile to train models for other users
- •We never track you outside of Skophos
Infrastructure
- •Hosted in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany — ISO 27001 certified)
- •Database: Supabase (EU region, SOC 2 Type II)
- •All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
- •Authentication via Supabase Auth with Google OAuth (PKCE flow)
GDPR compliance
- •Right of access: request a full export of your data at any time
- •Right to erasure: delete your account and all associated data permanently
- •Right to portability: export your article history and preferences
- •Data Processing Agreement available on request for institutions
